your colors soften

the bitterness of lightless days.

Your scent travels,

carries me

to forgotten places.

A smile is born.

Your petals dance with the wind,

cry without sound

until the end of night.

The moon shows its face.

The sun rises.

The birds sing.

Nostalgia strikes,

gently.

How long

will your azure reflections

shimmer

in the tears of my eyes?

A bitter blue,

precious and fleeting,

beautiful,

because it does not last.
